Is the Zumsteel "stage one" any good for a starter guitar? (I believe thats what its called). Thanks, Jack |

YES YES YES
I have had a maverick ,then a carter starter then a Zum phase one
the ZUM was hands down the best
just my 2 cents but i think its the best pedal steel you can get without going to a pro model

Jack: I think the GFI Economys are on the same level as the Zum Stage One, I have had them both and they are good guitars.

Thanks, I can get a near new one with a Peavey 158 and Goodrich pedal for $800, I guess its a start. Jack |

I played one for 2 yrs, now I've owned 2 pro models since. The stage one is much lighter but played just as smooth and had a good sound.
