Which Franklin Pedal steel are you asking about??
Paul Franklin Sr. usually makes his own pickups.

Yes those with the two rows of single round magnets are not Paul Sr. made; so I would say Bill Lawrence 710.

Paul Sr, quit building his own pickups years ago. My (late) 82 Franklin came with Lawrence 705's. Paul told me he couldn't build pickups as good as the Lawrence so he quit making them.

Last time I talked to Paul Sr about the pickups in his son's guitars he told me some were 705's and some were 710's. This was about 5 years ago, the last time I visited Paul Sr at his house in Madison.

OH thanks Jack for the info about Paul Sr.
So there ya go....like Austin Said; those in the Black one are BL 710's and the ones with two straight metal lines are BL 705's....Done deal. (both those are my favorite Humbucker pickups; but I don't use them as I use a Sho~bud single coil wound by Harry Jackson)

As Jack said above, some of Paul's guitars have Chrome 705's on them and some have 710's.
my 1994 Franklin D10 has 710's on it and they are the original pickups on that guitar.
