Rickenbacher Bakelite B6 (Not sure of the date but think it is late 1940's) Name of the company was changed to Rickenbacker sometime after WWII.

The pickup was rewound by Rick Aello and the tuners were changed to Kluson. The chrome panels have been changed and there is no tone control only a volume directly to the output jack. This lap steel sounds very nice and stays in tune but it's not original. I don't have a case but will find something suitable for shipping.

Looking to trade for a decent Telecaster.

Donation to SGF upon trade

You should hear Megan Lovell from the group Larkin Poe (with her sister Rebecca) play this model of lap steel in GBDGBD tuning, covering rock, blues, and their own compositions if you haven't already. Check out her Allman Bros. and Son House covers on YouTube. She makes this thing smoke!

I have the Ric B6 on hold for a Forum member. Glad it’s going to a good home.

Ross, it’s about time I start parting with some instruments and amps a little at a time and get organized. Oh what fun😎
