The recent post question to identify the picker reminded me that I have had these 2 Lp's for years and don't know who the steel players are.

Thanks

Shorty sent an email to me but I realize now that when the picture was horizontalized, it cut off the steel player. I sent a picture back to him.
I'll post the name if he can, in fact, identify it. Thanks.

Thanks Steve Hinson for suggesting I contact Shorty Smith. He contacted me on my "georout@cogeco.ca" email and advised the steel player in the blue framed picture of Curly Mooney and his band, is Charles Bailey who died several years ago. Apparently, Charles started out playing lap steel as in the picture but ended up playing a Fender pedal steel.

Shorty Smith additional info directly to me:
"+Curley was a dear friend of mine, we played music together for several years off and on, He had his band and I had mine and we played different places. He recorded some of the songs I wrote. Curley was well liked and was very active in the Columbus, Ga area."
