I'm reluctantly posting this beautiful guitar for sale, built for me in 2017 by MSA and custom builder Mitchell Smithey, a true artisan. I don't play it enough and feel it should be in the hands of someone who will play it and appreciate it. It has never been out of my house (non-smoking).

Extended E-9 on the top neck, Extended C-6 on the bottom neck. It has L-Frets, logo horse-head pedals, curved knee levers, easy-change bell cranks, new-style MSA horse-head logo (this was the first guitar to have that new logo), plays smooth and easy and has great tone. Mitchell autographed the bottom of it and dated it when I picked it up.

I used to be a D-12 player but have become a D-10 player. I put bronze strings on the lower 2 of the Extended E-9 neck which makes it feel like a D-10. Same on the top 2 strings of the C-6 neck. These can be easily replaced with the original matching nickel or steel strings, which I have and will provide.

I have a custom wheeled (not split) case built by Red Dirt Cases with wheels which I will include it with the guitar.

Using the fool-proof "bathroom scale" method of weighing, the case weighs approx. 28 lbs and the guitar and case together weigh approx. 78 lbs.

I waited a year for it to be built and have about $9k in it. I'm asking $7,200. I live very near the location of the Dallas Show so I could deliver it there or ship it.

I have played this guitar and it plays like butter and sounds great.

Chuck takes great care of his gear. The guitar is flawless.

Don't let this one slip past your fingertips.

Chuck,

I can't believe that you'd sell this wonder of a machine. Is there anything else that MSA could do with a Legend?

I'll tell you what. Since your not playing it you can drop it by my place and let me see if I could get used to it. Winking

Someone grab this. People are waiting as long as two years for one like this.
