Ken,
What could be done to get a better reverb sound from a Nashville 400 compared to a Fender twin reverb. |

Metzger reverb mod
Caps
.01uf
.1uf
.33uf/50 volt mylar
Resistors
1.2K
33K
Metzger Reverb Mod for the Nashville 400 Driver Stage Mods
1). Change input cap (C36) from .015uf to .01uf
Reverb Recovery Stage Mods
1). Change blocking cap (C40) from .22uf to.1uf
2). Change resistor R61 from 1.5K to 1.2K Change cap C39 from .47uf/50 volt electrolytic to .33uf/50 volt mylar
3). Change resistor R60 from 22K to 33K
Install a MOD reverb tank.

That's it, you're done. Don't forget to gently re-tension that reverb molex connector
Been thinking about building an improved cable assembly
for a while. These are made with braided style like old Fender amps used. Also covered with a clear shrink tubing to assure the tanks to assure that the input to the tank does not get grounded out to the reverb can. The tanks used in Peavey amps have an isolated input from the tank chassis.
