Anyone teaching universal or got any lessons tabs etc etc ? advice or anything on the uni? on the 14 string that is.

I've got a copy of Jeff Newmans spiral bound E9/B6 course I might be able to get to you but as a matter of fact you don't really need anything special.

E9 stuff pretty much translates directly with just slightly different (new/extra) grips. C6 grips move up a string and one fret when the E's are dropped. Try to learn everything in each mode and pretty soon they'll start to become interchangeable.

As always YMMV, depending on your particular 14 string copedent.

What David says. Play E9 stuff. Play C6 stuff up a fret.
With time, you'll discover where the tunings overlap so that you can combine elements of the two.
Some changes have meaning in the "other" tuning, such as P7.
Some do not, such as the C pedal.
