On a tube amp mids are your friend. This amp is supposed to emulate a twin so that’s how I set it. With a Williams with either 705’s or Alumitones it works. If it was the Blade maybe not. I get plenty of lows. |

I find just the opposite of what Donny says with the Tone Master Twin.
I cut the mids on a Peavey but that is a different EQ system. The "parametric mid" function works well with it cut around 750 to 800 Hz. _________________ GFI Ultra Keyless S-10 with pad (Black of course) TB202 amp, Hilton VP, Steelers Choice sidekick seat, SIT Strings

Just like tube amps, all Class D amps are NOT the same.
Different circuit designs and components make quite a difference. |

Just wondering... do the neo speakers in the new TM's need a break in period like many other speakers do? If it were me I would never return a new amp until the END of the return window to give time for the speaker to soften up and get the paper moving. All I know is that all of my amps sounded much better after a good break in. |

Hi Jack. You mentioned you use a pod xt pro for effects. Just wondering how you prefer to run it in the chain and do you het much noticable white noise or hiss from that particular unit. I have a pod 2.0 and find it a little noisy |

I was playing a Katana 50 in a music store, and was fairly impressed by the range of tones and headroom, until I played the amp sitting next to it, an older Peavey 1-12. That old SS circuitry was more immediate and fat. Made the Katana feel artificial.I wonder if you feel the latency on the digital amps, or if it is class D?
