Remove very tight amp knob

Having trouble getting extremely tight amp knobs off Nashville 112. Don't want to use a screw driver to pry them as it might crack the knobs. Heard about the T Shirt method (work it under the knob). The spanner wrench for 8 bucks works well for removing knobs on guitars and amps. Other uses also like tightening tuner nuts and jacks.

Here is what I have done...I use a cloth. Wrap the cloth around the knob and pull it evenly. It works well.

Ordered the knob and bushing puller from Amazon. A lot cheaper than the StewMac one but appears to be exactly the same.

Wrapping a cloth around the knob is pretty cool as demonstrated in the video.

hopefully there is no set screw in it!!??

i use two spoons under knobs. that way it has equal pull on both sides of it. takes 4 seconds. if you worry about marring the finish, place a cloth underneath.

Well the one I ordered with the glass tube didn't work at all! What wasn't obvious was that the glass tube had to be completely unobstructed for it to work. A nearby jack or edge on the amp interfered with it. I also ordered this one (see below), much cheaper and worked perfectly.
