This is a Push-pull guitar and sounds and plays as good as the pro guitars. I have one. It has that unique Emmons push pull sound.

Paul this Emmons Knees Raise An lowers the Es on the right side. I’ll post some underneath pictures. The left knee needs work.

My first steel was an Emmons student model, exactly like this one. I also owned another one about 10 years ago.

These came with one knee lever, so the two additional levers are very likely owner modifications. That's why pictures of the undercarriage are important. I'm curious to see what those levers look like.

Doug your 100 percent right two knees are home made they work fine but just not up too snuff cosmetically. So I removed them. The right knee right is Emmons correct lowers both Es an works perfectly. I jump the gun posting this GS Emmons.But she sounds crazy good an pedals very good.
