Lately I have tried to make my backing tracks a little more polished ( I nearly said professional sounding). This was created with a plucked Cello loop with a little bowing that I created in a program called Reason. Then I recorded a little arpeggio on the ukulele of the basic chords. I finally strummed the ukulele chords over the end section and doubled the part. The main melody section was recorded live for the video then for interest I overdubbed the Lap steel again.
Havana played on a reissue Epiphone Lap Steel tuned to C6 tuning. I hope you all enjoy, Mike! |

Very nice! It's rare to hear a song on steel that my teenage son will recognize _________________ "Don't be mad honey, but I bought another one" |

Thank you Frank.........I think the steel guitar should be doing more modern music, the only trouble for me is that I much prefer the older stuff! I think it is an age thing ! |

Very well done, Mike. Nice tone. The tune is an ear-catcher.
It would be great to have its tablature for learning. Is it possible? |

Thank you for your kind words Roy!
Mikhail I usually do make a tab for any of the pieces I play and upload. Unfortunately I did not for this. I originally started playing this with a looper because the chords just repeat. Then I decided to make a little loop and play over it.....I recorded the take and thought it might be fun overdubbing after.......It was a bit improvised but I thought it sounded ok so it stayed!
