Here is a 1981 Sho Bud Super Pro, serial #17319. I bought this from a dealer in Nashville, and sent it to Lynn Stafford for a setup and to add a knee lever. It plays and sounds great now.
I have a lot more invested in this guitar than I can get, I'm sure. The market on the forum for old Buds is at a pretty low point these days, but I need to finance another steel purchase, so this beauty must go. I know someone out there would love to have this guitar.

8x5, standard Emmons, E's on the left, LKV lowers 5 and 10. RKL raises 1 and 2 to match 3 and 4 with a good half tone feel stop on #1. Same knee lowers 6 G#-F#...RKR lowers 2 (good 1/2 stop) and also 9.

On C6th, standard pedal setup: RKL lowers 3, RKR raises 4.
Pretty standard. I had Lynn install teardrop levers which is a groovy addition. Currently has a 1" lift kit on it and lightweight alloy legs.

NOTE:The legs are 1 inch longer than standard-not a sleeve lift. I can ship either way, with or without. I still have the legs that came with it, which are standard height. Case is virtually brand new. The guitar has zero issues. It was my dream guitar when I was much younger.

Why sell? I have two really nice Zums and a fine old Lynn Stafford restored push pull, so this guitar sits, and that's a shame. It sounds and plays like a Sho Bud should.
It would cost you around $4200 to buy a guitar like this of the forum that needed some love and have a first class Tech like Lynn do a number on it (that's what I did)...Its the real deal now.
Anyway, $2000 and you pay to ship from Soggy Bog, WA.
Thank you for perusing, you, my friends.

I think you mean 1981. That’s a beauty, I’ve got a blond Super Pro and love it to death!

Here is a copy of my original picture without the flaw in it. I'm not sure how that happened Confused

Just for the record, the four teardrop lever handles were made by none other than John Coop! They are mounted on aluminum brackets from Michael Yahl. Both are very high quality!! I installed the 5th vertical knee lever (Michael Yahl parts) and did the setup work on this fine guitar and it plays and sounds great!

One of the nicest Buds to come through for a "Steal" of a price in a long while! One lucky buyer!!!! Well under priced!
