Just gotta say how much I’m digging my new (to me) 1957 Fender Champ.

It’s small and light. Shows her age. Has just a single skinny single-coil pickup like an old Duo-Sonic.

But it plays like a dream, and the tone is so tasty, I want to eat it for dessert!

Just out of curiosity -- do you prefer the narrower string spacing of the Fender and the Valco, or the wider spacing of the Gibson and the Ric. Or doesn't it make any difference to you.

I hadn’t given it much thought, but now that you mentioned it, I have to say that this and the Valco are my favourite “players”.
