From the 1996 ISGC, one of the true innovaters of the PEDAL steel.
The very first pedal sound ever heard was Bud playing "Slowly" on record.
Enjoy Bud and his wife Geri

What a stellar pair of musicians! First saw them in St. Louis in the early '80's - they were dressed in white from head to toe, rocking buckskin jackets with fringe: now
that's entertainment!
Thanks again, Bill! |

I attended the ISGC in St. Louis in 1981,1986 and 1991. I just do not remember if I ever saw Bud Issacs and his wife while I was there. He is a big piece of history for steel guitar and a great player. Thanks Bill for posting this video. |
