Although expected, I was not quite prepared to say goodbye to my Dad. He passed on peacefully this morning. He was 93 and the strongest man I’ve ever known. A WWII army veteran, he worked hard all his life and supported his family through thick and thin. We will miss you on this earth, but will certainly see you again in Heaven. Rest well, Daddy, I love you and will miss you, but I know you were tired and your suffering is over.

Sincere condolences Rick. You are blessed to have had this many years to enjoy your father's company. Still, doesn't make it any easier to see him go, I know.

I wish for you peace and comfort.

Vets have a special place in my heart. Those guys from WWll will always be Americas best generation. Most kids today could never dream of filling their shoes.

Rick, so sorry for your loss.

When our loved ones are alive, we have to call them or visit them. But when they die, you can just "talk" to them whenever you want and wherever you may be.

I "talk" to my Pop all the time and he's been gone almost 5 yrs.

What a great reminder of their continued love and support, Stephen!

Rick, How wonderful that you and your dad had each other all these years! Still, it's so hard to say goodbye. Clearly, you were very proud of him, as I'm sure he was certainly proud of you. I can see the sweetness in his face; I can hear the sweetness in your words. Our deepest condolences for your family's loss. Donna and Tommy
