One of the all time greats of our instrument being inducted into the International Steel Guitar Hall of Fame.

Another great one...but it is really sad to see all those legends who have left us. I took a lot of pics at those yearly induction ceremonies and they are a wonderful memory.

Thanks for pointing this out, Frank. At first I thought it was a tape pe-recorded by Doug playing in the background.

Here is a link to Doug Jernigan playing the song Jeff Newman was playing. Doug wrote the song while playing for Faron Young. Doug will never disappoint you on his set at a steel show. One of the very best ever to sit behind a steel guitar. Thanks Bill for posting the video. |
