So I was playing last Saturday night at a gig and a guy with his girlfriend danced right over to front of me. They were looking at and talking about me. I could tell this because the guy was pointing to my feet. When the song ended, he continued to explain to his girl just how this instrument works. He finished his conversation by saying to me, “You are really good on that thing. That’s a lost art. Rolling Eyes You don’t see those things anymore.” Then he looked at his girl and said. “It’s like an old piano before they came out with the keyboards.”

I just gave him a thumb up and said, “Thanks, I not willing to give it up yet.” Laughing

You should have said, "No, it's an airless trombone." That is a funny one -- piano, huh? Ha!

That's like when I direct traffic on an auto accident scene. People pull up and say "Car accident?"

I reply "no, shark attack..."

I may, in fact, be nuts. However, I am screwed onto the right bolt... Jesus!
