Lately I have been trying to find out more about the great players of the golden age of the steel guitar. These players like Sol Hoopii and Dick Mcintire have a touch and phrasing that really appeals to me. Here is my version of "Patches" as originally played by Sol Hoopii in 1928. Played on a Beard Vintage R Resonator tuned standard high G tuning. Backing recorded with Ukulele and Ukulele Bass.
