Chris Ivey once told me in a pm that he shared a house with Pat Simmons in the late nineties. He (Pat)was practicing his guitar as much as he could.

Donny excuse me for derailing this thread. There was another guitar player that was as good as Pat Simmons or even better: David Robinson.
