OK....first, I admit I live in a closet.
No tv.....just listen to commercial free internet radio.
My wife is my only friend and I spend hours every day in my music room.

But I have never seen one of these instruments.

I was perusing Reverb today as I often do looking for my next victim and I saw one of these for sale.
I have never heard of one, seen one or heard one played before.
To me this instrument is amazing.
It was invented only 10 years ago and is already sneaking it's way in to popular music.

The video below gives a good explanation as to how it works and how it's played.
If you want to just listen to songs being played on it there is a big selection on YouTube.
Maybe I'll set up a GoFundMe page because it costs a wee bit.

I hadn't heard of them til recently. apparently Stevie Wonder became infatuated and has been playing for a few years. didn't realize they were so expensive, it really makes a pedal steel seem like a bargain in comparison!

I have no interest in playing one, but I did figure out Stevie's 'Love's In Need of Love Today' on steel after hearing this guy do it: https://youtu.be/RL50VnZY1Kk
