Rattling around in the pickup cavity of my new-to-me lovely 1954 Diana ware the two broken screws with nuts, and the washer, in the picture. I couldn't find anyplace they might have come from. There also is something rattling around in the jack cavity that I couldn't get out without more disassembly...
I can only surmise that they've been there since it was manufactured in 1954...randomly dropped in by accident, maybe...

??

Steve
This may not answer your question but it’s widely believed that the previous owner had a few loose screws - maybe that explains it...

Nice steel! I hope you enjoy it!
