Emmons Legrande II - does anyone know the size of the E clips that hold the rods to the bell cranks? Where to buy?

Now that you know the size 7/64 e-clips go to an automotive store like NAPA and you wont have to buy so many, just what you need.

Yep, Ace Hardware fixed me up. $0.19 each. I bought five. Should be good for a long time. Plus, I've still got the hot dog bun tie that I used for two sets and it didn't fail. Thanks!

I have 1 of the Emmons Original E-clips. Its Thickness is .015 (Fifteen Thousands)
Which makes it an Odd Duck and hard to find. Check any replacement clips very careful.
The E-Clips listed by McMasters list them as .020 (Twenty Thousands Thick) They will not go in the slot on some pull rods I have dealt with.
I have taken clips that would not go in the rod slot and held them with a pencil eraser and rubbed them on a diamond sharpening stone to remove all burrs and thin them till they fit. Not the first time I had to do something the hard way.
