I am looking at this Capri and am curious if anyone has any info on this. These are the only pics I have and I can't see it in person..

Well, it looks like it's trying to be! However, the changer is identical to the early MSA "Mini-Pro" model, and it also has the same black/crinkle endplates, as well as the same waffle-top pedals. It appears to be an older pull/release design, and since the (later) ad in the post Lee made references cables, I'd have to assume that it's a late '60s or very early '70s model. (Cables lost all their appeal by the mid '60s, when the all-pull and push-pull designs came into popularity.) The keyhead appears to be one piece and very long. That could be a pre-Micro MSA part, or maybe a Miller or Marlen part. |
