I seek opinions regarding the Lollar Console Grand PU as installed in some Ram steels.
Thanks
Jim

I have a Sentell LS 2 pickup for sale. I bought it to put in a project I had made but it was not a good fit.

I have the Lollar CG pickup in the 8 string I built, and I absolutely love it. The tone is full and rich, with high end that cuts through, but is not harsh or shrill. The sound stays clean even when I push my amp pretty hard. It's a single coil, so I'm careful about amp placement, but I've never had a problem with noise.

I just installed a pair in a double neck console project and am very pleased with the rich full tone of these pickups.

By all means check out all your options, but if that particular sound is what you're after, the Lollar pickups are quite satisfying.

Then I stick to my opinion - these Lollars are fine pickups!

I have a RAM Grande double 8 with those Lollars in it and it sounds great. Especially the lower strings which have clarity and punch. Four different tunings are used and they all sound excellent. Top neck is either Helms E6 or high G C6, lower neck is either E13 or A6.
