Hey, guys!

Anyone know what year Rick started putting those ugly metal peghead covers on steels? I mostly see them on later 50s/early 60s models. Any definitive info appreciated!

Which kind? There were several, and they were not all used at the same time. I think I have these in chronological order:

Old Frets: the obscure side of vintage instruments.
Interrupter Jones: the best band to come out of Connecticut since the last one.

Personally I quite like the second group. The D8 with the solid wood body (not the box/cabinet frame) was super interesting to me, but I can't hardly justify another console (or house one) these days, sadly.
