I use a 10 string lap steel (tuned to standard E9 pedal steel tuning) and love it! I have an 8 string resonator, but miss my low D and high D# strings. Hoping to get my hands on a 10 string dobro to replicate the tuning of my lap steel.

I think a 10 string resonator puts too much pressure on the cone and you lose the sound quality.
