Line 6, a giant in the world of guitar amp simulators, announced the inline line array sim cable. The device simply patches between a mixing console and the systems crossover. The cable will then simulate the sound and characteristics of a high end line array system. Line 6 notes however, in order for the cable to work, the console must provide phantom power to power the device on the consoles outputs as well as the inputs. If the console does not have phantom on the outputs, the system will sound like a normal unaffected system. The new cable retails for $19.95.
