I recently acquired this Magnatone Eddie Bush Special. A wonderful sounding and playing steel. Does anyone have any information on this particular model? Catalog pictures?
(Sorry for the sideways picture)

None of the Magnatone catalogs I've seen include this model, but I have seen a few other examples out there. I believe it was always sold as a set with a matching amp, with an adjustable-height pole that fixed the steel to the top of the amp like a stand.
The combination of that pickup with MOTS covering suggests that they're all mid-1950s. |

I've seen the amp/stand set up with their keyless model but I don't recall seeing one with any of the other models.
The electronics (and much of the hardware) seem to be the same as the G65 and G70 models _________________ "Don't be mad honey, but I bought another one" |
