Godspeed Funky Doc!!!

I did production for a show of his that featured Jerry Lewis on a Jerry's Kids tour while I was on tour with a band I was in.

Guess we were in the right place..at the right time.

The Doc played B3 as well.

Here is a rare full video of him singing "Right Place Wrong Time" doing the "T" as he usually had other sidemen play organ.

I saw him at the Blue Moon in Lafayette,LA in 1979. I remember the whole show. It was incredible as I sat 10 feet away in this little bar. He was a legend even then.
