I'd say the tie-die shirt with a bandana headband screams retro-dead! But they do it well (the music AND the look)!

We just opened for them last Friday in California. Barry Sless is a great player and a super nice guy. Pretty much an all-star band! They all live here in the bay area.

You’re on the right track. I’ve seen Barry play electric guitar with the likes of Phil Lesh and Bob Weir on a few occasions in post Grateful Dead bands. He might be the best I’ve ever heard at sometimes nailing the Garcia guitar style. I have been to a couple shows in the past where if I closed my eyes on certain songs I’d think it was Jerry on stage playing guitar.

Dave,
Is that the same Chris Robinson from the Black Crowes??
It sure looks like him, but it doesn't sound like him.

It is Chris Robinson. Pete Sears in on bass. He played with Rod Stewart, Hot Tuna Jefferson Starship, etc. Johnny Molo on drums. I believe he played with Bruce Hornsby and The Range. Greg Loicono on guitar from The Mother Hips.
