More woodshedding on B11 tuning. A nice way to start my Saturday!

Love it! I think of B11 sorta like a mullet...clean A6th business in the front, dissonant B9th party in the back. Smile

Thanks. Great arrangement.
I like that photography angle also. I wonder if you could do it from over the key head just as an experiment.

The only slant I do on B11 is a forward slant on strings 1 & 2... same slant as A6 tuning. The top 4 strings of B11 are the same as A6. There are probably more slants on B11 but I haven’t spent enough time on it to explore it fully.

Alan A. taught me a really odd B11 slant...reverse split bar on strings 1,2,4 as I recall, it's in a couple arrangements he's assigned me. 4 string one fret higher, gives a 7th and he used it as a passing tone so no time to slowly get it perfectly in tune! Yikes! Very Happy

Nice tune, Doug!

Here's a B11th slant-fest of an intro I came up with ...

LOL... I guess I've been living in Florida too long now. I was thinking about the fish, and couldn't quite make sense of it, and then remembered "Oh, right! The haircut!"

I think Nuages would sound good on B11. I started working on a version of that song a few years ago but I got sidetracked with something else at the time. I'd be interested to hear what you come up with Mike.
