10 string non pedal steel I am building, put it together just to make sure it played and sounded ok,and it’s absolutely great,so now it’s going to be stripped down and all the parts cleaned and polished, new fretboard on the way, new machine heads fitted,GL E66 pickup new set of C6th strings and it’s done.

Looks great. I have a kind of similar 10 string, Geo L E66, PSG keyhead, the only issue i ran into was i needed to increase the unwound strings breakover angle at the nut (with string trees) which i think gave me better sustain

Hi Gene, the headstock was originally from a 12 string,so I string the wound strings so the heavy wound strings start at the next machine head from the headstock,so the break over angle is very slight down to the machine head.
