SOLD
GFI ULTRA keyless S-10. 4+5. $2,100 shipped to Continental US. I prefer PayPal “money to friends” option but will discuss other methods.
I recently got a new custom made guitar so am retiring this old friend and passing it along.
Serial # 1004 is a 22 1/2" scale, finished on 5/5/2004.  It was originally sold to Bobbe Seymour. This is a great guitar for traveling or if you just need a small stage footprint.
Currently in a “short Universal” Emmons setup, meaning 9 is B, 10 is G# . Es on left knee, vertical (I added this myself) lowers B-Bb. RKL raises 1 to G#+2 to E, lowers 6 to F#. RKR lowers 2 to C#, 8 to D. Standard ABC pedals. 4th pedal lowers 7 to E and 10 to E.
I can modify this setup if necessary but it will delay shipping.
The Alumitone pickup has a rich, clear tone with excellent string separation and has been whisper quiet in every stage situation I’ve ever used it.
Original GFI pickup included.
Built in 4 position distortion which goes from clean boost to hardcore metal screaming. There’s also a stick-on tuner that I’m leaving on.
These factors make this GFI a fantastic axe for more contemporary applications but it also has a clear bite that works for traditional music.
I stuck on a Fender style fretboard because I really like the look. The original GFI “four leaf clover” design is still underneath, so no problem peeling the other one off.
Original GFI case is in good shape.

Standard Features: Maple Die Board Bodies with Mica Style Finish, Brushed Aluminum Frame Finish with Baked Epoxy Clear Coating, One Piece Key Head(s), 22 1/2 Inch Scale, 3 Raise and 2 Lower Changers with Stainless Steel Fingers, Adjustable Changer Springs, 7 Position Bell Cranks, Expandable Steel Crossrods, Deflection Minimizing Crossrod Center Brackets with Teflon Bushings, GFI II Pickups made by George "L" to GFI Specs, Hardshell Gray Carpet Covered Case, Denim Leg Bag.
