Gauged rollers

You players who have experience with gauged rollers, what difference did you notice vs. standard? Do they change tone or playing technique?

There's no tone change, and on a ten-string guitar, gauged rollers are really not that much of an advantage. I tend to think that problems players have playing at the first two frets are more caused by poor technique, or just a lack of practice.

Roger, I'd say on E9, you don't need gauged rollers. But on C6 they make a dramatic difference!
