Will the holes on the Alumitone match the holes

| Most likely not. The mounting holes for Alumitone pickups are situated on the ends, the mounting holes/tabs for wide mount pickups are normally located on the sides. |

You need to make a thin plate to mount the pickup on
and then drill 4 holes that are same as your E-66

I made plates out of plexiglass back when I was using Alunitones.

| The backing plate idea is a very sound suggestion but you may want to first situate the Alumitone pickup in the slot and measure the distance from the top of the pickup to the strings to determine the amount of clearance available (should be a minimum distance of two or three stacked $.25 coins). This should help when determining the allowable backing plate thickness. |
