Does anyone know how I might locate the piano part for Webb's 'Still Within the Sound of my Voice'?
No search has come up trumps. There's one songbook on Webb but that tune isn't included. _________________ Roger Rettig - Emmons D10s, Quilter TT-12, B-bender Teles and old Martins.

My favorite JW tune.
The changes themselves aren't all that difficult (Ronstadt's version), but what he might play on it - if he's doing a solo piano/vocal performance - can be quite difficult.
Plus, he'll never do it the same way twice. He's an incredible player and interpreter of his own material. |

That's why I want a piano part. I'd adapt it to six-string for my purposes, of course.
They're easy changes but the vocal is tricky and selecting a key takes thought. E major seems to fit my vocal range (such as it is!) The modulations are clever, though, and Glen proved yet again what a stellar singer he was.
It's a beautiful song and Jimmy Webb sits alongside Burt Bacharach on my list of all-time great writers - right at the top. _________________ Roger Rettig - Emmons D10s, Quilter TT-12, B-bender Teles and old Martins.
