Vintage Push-Pull Case - PROJECT

I have this old vintage Push-Pull case, that needs TLC. Probably circa 1965.

It is very rough, but all of the ancient metal corners, braces and latches are still there. The body is very solid. Needs handle replaced or repaired if the original one can be replicated.

I almost threw it away, but then thought that somebody out there in Forumland might want it. What do you think?.
