Guys, I posted this in the PSG thread, but since lots of electronics boffins hang out here, let me ask for ideas.

The guitar is a modified Epiphone Electra Zephyr.
I has added-on changers.
The problem is that we are getting no sound at all from the output.

We have attached new grounds onto the original so that hum is now eliminated--but again, not a bit of sound.

Here is the schematic that Techie Jim made from from the original:

Here is Jerry Jones' suggestion:

And here is the latest shot of the guts. Hopefully it is clear enough:

Ideas? Tony Prior? Ken Fox? Donny Hinson? Godfrey Arthur? Brad S.? Erv N.? You guys are experts: I have enough problems just playing a steel!

The problem for me is that your image is not clear enough to compare to a schematic. Eyes on may be the only way to tell. It does look funny to me that in your hand drawn schematic the .1uf capacitor grounds the pickup frame?

I would check in this order:
Disconnect PU and test for DC ohms reading.
Disconnect tone circuitry and connect PU direct to volume pot.

If that all works, there must be something in your tone wiring.

This would be a much easier fix if it was on the bench.

Maybe someone has better eyes than I do.

BTW - I believe the above schematic is for a G&L guitar.

And one more thing... check that one of your pickup wires is not shorting to the pickup frame.
