John Hughey is credited to play on "Movin' On" from an album posthumously released, but recorded in'69.

There's a version by the Box Tops from one year earlier with almost the same arrangement. They both recorded at American Studios with people like Reggie Young. So I guess it was the same steel player.

John lived and worked around Memphis till the late 60s...he moved to Hendersonville TN right after he went with Twitty...he did a lot of sessions in Memphis at Moman's American Studios and other places..."I Met Her in Church"by the Box Tops and"Angel of the Morning(Merrilee Rush)are two cuts,another is"In the Ghetto"by Elvis...John had a club gig with Reggie Young back then...they both had some funny stories about that.
