After a lot of internal debate, I've decided to sell my custom ordered 2018 G&L S-500. In early 2018 I had G&L build this guitar to my spec and this is the result.
Full specs can be found on the sheet included in the photos. In case you are wondering, my primary reason for selling is because I ended up not liking the Modern Classic neck.
A few months into owning it I removed the stock MFD pickups and replaced them with Duncans. I will have them re-installed prior to me shipping the guitar. If you'd rather have the Duncans we can also discuss that. Please note the last photo shows the guitar with the MFD pickups in it.
The guitar is in excellent condition and has only been gigged twice. The only evidence of wear is swirls on the pick-guard from strumming. The plastic is still on the trem cavity cover.
The guitar has many upgrades that aren't always seen on other G&L guitars and you will be hard-pressed to find one with this particular set of features such as the black headstock face, "model logo delete" (no model name shown on the headstock) and a gloss neck (a majority of G&L guitars leave the factory with a satin neck).
For those wondering the 'expander' switch gives you the option of Neck + Bridge pickup together for a Tele sound, or all 3 pickups on.
