A local music store just called and asked if I could help restore (clean up, new strings, set up pedals) for a customer who quit playing it 40 yrs and now wants get it back to playing condition.

Any ideas on what tunings and pedal set up were basic to these? String gauges? Any 'critical adjustments' needed?

Any help will be greatly appreciated. I will go look at it next week.

Thanx,
Jim
