Please, please, please watch at least 30 seconds of each AD on my YouTube videos. This is the only way to make it worth my while to continue posting all these historical videos.
One of the fun things at the International Steel Guitar Convention was Jeff Newman's RED LIGHT JAM.
Yep the songs got long, but it gave you a chance to hear several players interpretation of a song.
In this video, I left all the setup of steels and sound at the beginning so you could get a glimpse of what went on (if you were not there).
Steel Guitars: Jeff Newman, Larry Sasser, Bobby Garrett, Hal Rugg & Jimmy Day
Fiddles: Hoot Hester and David Russell
Guitars: Fred Newell and Bobby Caldwell
Piano: Roy Rosetta
Bass: Billy Linneman
Drums: Clay Claire (not sure of spelling)
Enjoy and please Subscribe and Follow on YouTube and Facebook
