Manny - this sounds like a great show. You and Roger are great players, and have different styles. This is gonna be fun. maybe we can get the whole gang there.

Are you going to teach Roger "The Manny Lick"?

Hi Jim, Can`t wait to hear from you about Dallas. About April 27th, Elaine is sick and tired of me playing what she refers to as the "Idiot Lick". When I play that descending sweep she points the neck of her bass at me like she`s shooting me. That night I should behave. Roger`s playing is precise and intimidating. He and Harry Teachman do a good job playing "Pedal Patter".

Hi Harry, Are you playing in E. Greenwich? You`re gigging a lot now.Two steels on a gig is unique. I played a gig on April 7th with two bass players. Both Elaine Ellis and Maureen Corrieri played bass but not at the same time.

It looks like Dean Sampson can`t make the gig tomorrow night. Roger and I will have the audience all steeled out.

Oh oh. Now there's no one to separate you two. Maybe you need a third steeler to help with the rhythm parts.

Wow! What a fun gig we had last night. On April 27th the two "Dueling Country" steels experiment had Roger Trahan and myself on opposite sides of the stage. Last night band leader/conductor Elaine Ellis had us cocked toward each other on the right side. She played bass in between us and put drummer Harry Card in the left corner. You know you`re having a fun gig when it`s over in the blink of an eye. They want us back in July, August and beyond.

Hi Craig, It`s good to hear positive comments from PSGA`s pseudo ambassador. Last November, my 1st time at the "Gunsmoke" Jam, you were right when you told me I would enjoy it. See you in November.

Are you and Roger going to do any of your "Dueling Country" program at the Oct. 15 show?
I always have a gig on Sat. nights, so I always miss it.

Hi Harry, October 15 is a TUESDAY, and your band, the "Rhode Island Rednecks" are playing a guest spot from 6-7pm. About "Dueling Country", Roger and I have not planned a duet for the October 5th show. Once again, I can`t believe the fun we had last night playing the Weymouth Beanpost. Thanks again to RISGA President Jim Rice for coming. His son Jake won the 50/50 raffle.
