I just heard Malcolm at the Gulfport show a few months ago and was very impressed. He seems to get all you can get out of an E9 tuning with a standard
setup. Very nice

Lots of fun pickin' with Malcolm on my left and Danny Harrell on the right. Felt like a steel guitar "Buffet" night. No tellin' what might happen in Nov. 2019 !!! Ha !!!
