Hilton volume pedal

The other day I adjusted the tone setting on my hilton, to try and roll off the highs. It was a very small adjustment. When I got to the rehearsal, I noticed that my amp was really quiet as in the volume has dropped. At home I compared the volume with the hilton with the pedal on full volume, and then plugging directly into the amp. It was quite a bit louder when bypassing the volume pedal. Is this normal?

no, if anything I always found the Hilton wide open was louder than no volume pedal. Send Keith an email he's awesome about customer support.
