In the right hands, some amazing music can be made on one of these. Check out the theme from the movie "The Third Man."

I restored one of these a decade ago. Very difficult to play well. The string set from Germany was $86 if I remember correctly. I was lucky to sell it at a loss. Yes I have some interest for display purposes. Please email.

Mike and Robert Thanks for chiming in,
It sounds like the little rascals background music and very pleasant sounding
Seems they are for sale from 20 to 300 dollars,
Asking 150 or OBO. plus shipping

Craig,

I guess it does sound like that. That song actually was pretty popular. Chet Atkins recorded a solo guitar version and The Band recorded an ensemble version on their LP called Moondog Matinee. Both versions excellent IMO. Good luck with your sale. I'm tempted to go after it myself but I'm just getting serious about lap steel and can't add another instrument to the mix right now.

I've always liked the 3rd Man Theme.
In fact, I have it tabbed out for E9th. Very Happy
