It ain't pretty, and it ain't perfect, but it works. It works so well I haven't even felt like taking it off to finish it. It's got that "obvious hunk of 2x4" rustic charm.
I never knew I needed this so much! I haven't had to go scrambling for lost picks or a dropped bar since I made it.

Thanks! I used those clips you would screw into a wall to hold brooms, etc... Then put some foam on the clips to protect the legs.

Here's one I made that can be retrofitted to hold anything. I like the PVC mount as the plastic doesn't scratch the legs...
