A little Diddy I came up with, (at least I think I came up with it), while fooling around one day.

Hey Dale,

Sounds good. I assume you are loving that new MSA S-10?

Good to hear from you Andy... how you doing?

I do love this guitar, but will still probably get another D10 sometime... Even though I play VERY little C6th, there's just something about that back neck there... And since I don't play out much, I don't have to worry about the weight of a D10 vs an S10

I'm doing good, staying busy. I've been thinking about buying a new S-10 MSA but just haven't pulled the trigger yet.

Is there anything about the guitar that you don't like?

Andy, if I was going to be REALLY picky, (pun intended) I’d say that it doesn’t feel like a D10. That said, D10’s are the only thing I’ve played since the 70’s, so THAT feel is really ingrained into me. Aside from that, this guitar has perhaps the best tone of any guitar I’ve had, and I say that, having ALWAYS thought that a D10 would have better tone than an S10. This guitar has everything I’ve ever wanted in a guitar, except a 2nd neck. Laughing Very Happy Laughing

Dale,

Great...sounds about perfect for me then as I've never played anything other than a S-10. Did you go through multiple pickups to decide which was best for you or did you just get lucky and pick the best one when you ordered it?

These guitars seem to sound good no matter what you put in them. However I like the original 705 probably the best, but have been playing with the EXR 16 the last couple of days and I’m really liking it. I also like the 710 and the X10 as well... I ordered mine with a 409 but didn’t really care for it so we exchanged it for an X 10 which I think is a much better pick up to my ear anyhow. But I still play with the 705 for the most part.
