Hi Fellow Steelers....Our Group, the Western Swing Authority has been nominated for a couple Ameripolitan Awards in Memphis in February.....We Have also been asked to perform on the showcase for a short set on Feb 24....I am scared to fly my D10 Rittenberry Prestige with all the horror stories I hear lately....plus the cost to fly the guitar is crazy....i am asking for anyone that might be performing at the show if I could borrow or rent a d10 standard setup Steel for the short showcase....We played The Ameripolitan Awards in Austin a few years back and fellow steeler, John Macy let me use his Fessenden for the show....will forever be grateful to John....Appreciate spreading the word and even if there is a backline music store in Memphis I could rent one....Sure appreciate all your help with this...Gonna be a fun show.....Luv ya all. Well Don Pawlak is Dale Watson's Steel player; He'll be there the whole time I'm sure...and he'll be glad to let you use it I'm pretty sure.

Thanks Ricky, Really Appreciate the contact for Don... I sent a message to Don ...have not heard back..maybe he’s on the road...If anyone knows Don Pawlak or can contact, Appreciate it..or if you know of someone else at the Ameripolitan Awards that I could use steel for short set with the Western Swing Authority..Prefer not to fly my D10
Ritt with the horror stories on the airlines..Thanks everyone ..Ed

Ok Well Don Don needs our prayers. He had an injury back around Christmas time where his Retina detached and of course can't strain or lift anything...so he's on a healing break from music.
