SOLD

Upgraded to four KL by Jim Palenscar. I haven’t been able to get much use out of it due to foot surgery. It apparently spent its early days in the cold moist climes of upstate NY and Canada. Round front, wide pedals, no controls on rear deck. The original case has been jettisoned (you’re welcome) and replaced by an olfactorily friendlier NOS Sho-Bud case with the original Music City Mfg. sticker laminated, transferred and velcro-ed to the interior. Right now it’s set up +2”, Emmons setup, E’s on the left, 2 & 9 on RKL and 1 raise & 6 lower on RKR. Shows use, finish crazing and character. Great steel, it’s just that my diminished left foot has trouble with it. I have over $1700 in it; will sell for $1500, local SoCal pickup. Or by specific request, I can bring it to the Phoenix/Mesa show. I won’t bring it unless someone is seriously interested and asks me to in advance. I'm leaving early so Tue/15 is probably too late.

Wow that has the Emerald Green tint to the plaster underneath; that they did on the first year of the LDG may'73-may'74.
Also; this must of been originally a custom order as the guy had it built with "racks" instead of "crossbar/two hole pullers" which were pulling barrels by that time...so this is certainly one of the last steels with Racks. What is the serial number on this??
Just the sound ALONE is worth WAAAAY more than your asking price.
Sorry my mouth runnith over; but can't resist...ha.

Yeah, Ben... give us the serial #. Very nice 6139, probably near the end of the production run.

Thanks, Ben.
According to Gene Haugh's timeline, that puts it at November '73.
